"Son of the Puszta" (Béla Kéler)

The Hungarian composer Béla Kéler (1820-1882) was known for his catchy dance tunes--in fact, Brahms stole one for his Hungarian Dances. Here is a classic czárdás that begins with a slow, melancholy lassu, then launches into a sparkling Zingara full of wild Gypsy abandon.
